Records Watt Avenue, the first store of the Tower Records chain, was
opened in 1960. From the beginning, Watt Avenue has been at the
forefront of record retailing, growing to over 14,000 square feet from
its original 2,500 square feet.
Known as the "North Store" in
its early days, this store has served as a testing ground for many of
Tower Records/Video's innovative retailing concepts.
Located at
the corner of Watt and El Camino in Sacramento, the Watt Avenue store
is the place to go for your music and video needs with an inventory of
over 80,000 CDs and 35,000 DVDs. If you still can't find what you're
looking for, we'll gladly special order it for you at no additional
charge.
Tower Records at Watt Ave. also features an in-store
Ticketmaster sales booth, open daily from 10am-9pm. For information on
